Behind the mask of Professor Puddlehop

Matthew Willis has perfected the craft of family entertainment having performed for thousands of children and adults for over 15 years. Fuelled by a passion to bring boundless laughter, a sense of wonder and a dose of silliness to parties and private celebrations.

Matthew has worked with London’s top events companies to meticulously devise, plan and perform uniquely tailored magic and comedy shows for celebrities, politicians and royalty across the globe.

Most recently, Matthew starred in Sunshine, an award-winning family comedy show that brilliantly displayed his character-based acting. He also honed his craft with London-based

performance troupe Commedia where he learnt art of physical performance, mask and body work.

However, it was whilst being a co-founding member of the The Flying Seagull Project that Matthew discovered a flair for engaging and inspiring children. During trips to Cambodia, India, Ghana and Romania, Matthew was able to merge his training in physical theatre and his love for slapstick comedy during interactive laughter therapy workshops for little children, and ever-so-slightly bigger adults children!

Picking up magic tricks during his travels to marvel his audiences – including learning a trick or two from an elderly Kalbelyia snake-charmer in India's Pushka desert! - Matthew’s brilliant sense of humour, enthralling blend of classic and modern magic and love for improvised story-telling make him an adaptable and truly unique entertainer, perfect for your special celebration.
